The Museum of Modern Art in New York (also known as MoMA, English acronym Museum of Modern Art) is an art museum located in Manhattan (New York).
opened its doors on November 7, 1929, and was founded by American philanthropists Lillie P. Bliss, Mary Quinn Sullivan and Abby Aldrich Rockefeller to "help people understand, use and enjoy the visual arts of our time." It is one of the best modern art museums in the world.
