- When did you start placing flowers on the float of the Virgin? Was a proposal from someone or your own initiative?

- Do you have style or you put the flowers as they are imposing fashion? In
Actually, it's the evolution of our Brotherhood which has been setting the style. The changes we have experienced to what is now the guild is what made how to make floral arrangements. Is not the same when I started that today. The needs are different, the means are others and above all, the experience is greater. You can say it is the communion of my personal tastes, needs of their own guild and the influences exerted by Sevilla and Easter. This is the engine that we put our feet, our services and other floral decorations.
- What do you consider most appropriate flowers for a step of canopy? And for that of Glory of the Virgin in May?
Personally, for a canopy over me like a carnation, is classic and elegant, but as I mentioned before, everything is going according to the needs of the Brotherhood. There are many emotions that influence. Each brother has a treat. I try to collect all this and succeed in taking that piece of participation. With the passing of Gloria for May is the same. - How do you decide on a particular type of flower?
Traditionally we have a brotherhood marked by the flowers in a not too distant past. The flower was almost a necessity vital. The lack of some specific equipment required to make many flowers. - have been part of the Board for eight years, can you evaluate this period of time?
is difficult to estimate a time period which is part of the whole of my life in the brotherhood. But I can tell you it was exciting for me. Were two periods in two different boards, with a particular vision of each brother and his Board and this greatly enriched my personal experience. Each contributed greatly to the betterment of the brotherhood and regardless of the differences you may have with each of them I have to say that for me was a privilege to be at his side in good times and making an assessment not mine personally, ; of Francisco Rosado and Jose Segura, older siblings, were worthy characters in the historical process of our brotherhood. It would be very difficult to explain with words and valuing their work without being subjective so I can only say that time was a honor to be at his side and from here I would like to make a Travel in time to give my respect and my deepest love to all older brothers and their Boards that have enabled us to reach this point of greatness for the Brotherhood. - How long will it takes to prepare a step?
all depends on the passage in question. If the Palio, I can take about ten hours depending on the type of flower. If the passage of Gloria, slow a bit less, about six or seven hours, also depending, of course, the type of flower bearing.

All three are difficult but not for work that may involve each but by the emotional charge that involves everyone. - Do you feel any pressure when you put the flowers? Are you afraid to say that the day after?
Not at all, I have never felt any pressure. I worked with complete freedom. Another thing is to take into account the views of others and adapt to the fact the state of the economy of brotherhood.

- Has there been a year that you liked especially the way you've decorated?
No one could say, every step that I make when I finish, I look and I think is great! The truth is that every step and every time I put it better myself, all my effort and all the love that I cherish. How would you rate the Hermandad de la Soledad at the moment?
Make an assessment of the guild at a particular time is difficult for me because, as all groups are subject to a constant change. What I can say is that our brotherhood has evolved dramatically over the past forty years. We just have to look back and see how it has grown the assets, both human like appliances. Therefore, assessing the present time would be unfair because this time has resulted from the efforts of all the brothers that put faith sacrifice and brotherhood on the path of growth for the glory of our Mother of Solitude.
- Do you miss something at fault in this Brotherhood?
say that I do not miss anything on the brotherhood would truthfully. As I said before, the guild has changed a lot, always to improve and I know these changes will not stop the same inertia of brotherhood. I will not point out something to increase material wealth but I miss doing an internal strategy to safeguard our moral heritage, I miss working for the continuity of our traditions and to persevere in the hallmarks of this centuries old fraternity with . I think that the demands and pace of society will not let us see how important it is to preserve our traditions.
- What is for you the Virgen de la Soledad?
Not wanting to fall into sentimentality or demagoguery, I will tell you that solitude is where my faith lies, is the link between my religious understanding with escaping from this, it is who brings together my deepest emotions and gives meaning to the concept of "Christian" is an image not only for me but bridge between the human and the divine . La Soledad, for me, who gives meaning to my beliefs in God and trust that his hands extended over us to see the light for the good of all.
