Students 6th. year of the specialty Health & Environment IPEM 256 "Libertador General Don José de San Martín", won the Argentine Junior Water Prize 2011, organized by the Asociación Argentina
Engineering Health and Environmental Sciences. The finalists were presented on Monday 9 May at the Louis Pasteur Hall at the headquarters of AIDIS Argentina. The IPEM was represented by 256 students and Felipe Edgardo Devia Badin, accompanied by teacher Claudia Hernández. Argentina
Edition rewards the winning team with two trips (airfare and accommodation included) for a student and a teacher advisor to Stockholm to participate in the Stockholm Junior Water Prize established by the Stockholm International Water Institute - SIWI, which has the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Victoria of Sweden, to be held in the month of August.
The research presented was called "remove", home techniques for removing arsenic from groundwater. Students participated in 2010 to the provincial of the 42 th Science and Technology Fair, held at St. Mary of Punilla and selected among 187 works to represent the province of Cordoba in the national courts of AIDIS Junior Water Prize.
